Jodi Spargur

Jodi Spargur lives as a guest on the unceded Coast Salish Territory known as Vancouver. Jodi directs Red Clover Initiatives, a non-profit network that creates Indigenous-led local actions for healing and justice. Jodi is also a PhD. student with NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community whose dissertation is on land-based reparations in Canada and has a forthcoming book with New Leaf Press on the same topic.

Mandi Hecht

Amanda (better known as “Mandi”) Hecht is a preacher in the prairie city of Saskatoon. She has been in pastoral ministry for over a decade. She earned a doctorate from Northern Seminary in New Testament Context, concentrating on the power of story in scripture. She loves to make the stories in the Bible come alive and loves the way that these stories can shape people’s thoughts and (hopefully) lives. She is married with three children ranging from university age to grade eight; and she shares her home with a revolving door of cats. She takes her coffee black, if anyone is interested.

Kimberlee Medicine Horn Jackson

Kimberlee Medicine Horn Jackson, Ihanktonwoan Nation, (Yankton Sioux) is originally from the White Swan community in Lake Andes, South Dakota. She is a faculty member with NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community, co-editor of the Journal of NAIITS and PhD Student with NAIITS. Kimberlee holds an MFA in Creative Writing in poetry and special attention to lyric creative non-fiction essay. Kimberlee blends both academic and creative writing to reach a wider audience in which to engage in Indigenous lived experiences to see what kind of a future we build together.

Josh Wallace is a church planter and educator in Saskatoon in Treaty 6 Territory. He pastors within the Mennonite Church Saskatchewan family of congregations and teaches in Religion & Culture at St Thomas More College.

Kenny Bodvarson

Kenny Bodvarson

Kenny Bodvarson is a Metis business owner and counsellor in Saskatoon, specializing in couples and relationship counselling. He grew up in small-town Saskatchewan before moving to the big city where he met his my wife of 20 years. Over that time, he has worn many hats which have influenced his story in a unique way; from being a paramedic to running a group home for vulnerable youth. He enjoys being a Husband to a supportive partner and a father of two young adult children.

Rev Tony Snow (Stoney Nakoda) - Indigenous Minister, United Church of Canada. Rev Snow is an Elder, Traditional Knowledge Keeper and Theologian. He focuses on reconciliation programming, advisory services and facilitation. He is a member of the CAN-rac Board, Calgary Climate Hub, For The Love of Creation Campaign, Interfaith Fast For The Climate and the Calgary Interfaith Council.
